This week we will be talking on how to achieve a perfect look for the day.A make up look to the office,a look for shopping, visiting a friend and so on.
Going out to work, you don't want to your make up done like someone who is going for a disco party(over done) or face nude...depressed or sick.
When a make up is well done your self image is boosted (believe it or not),you add more colour to your face, you can easily cover spots, blemishes ,dark circles on the face.
As it is rightly said, your make up should draw peoples attention into your eyes and not make people look at you trying to figure out what is wrong about your make up.
To achieve a perfect day look:
- Moisturize or apply anti shine on the face depending on your skin type
- Apply a suitable foundation for your colour and skin type.
- For a perfect finishing, apply your powder using a powder brush or a neat powder puff.Always go for the right shade of powder for your skin colour this can be achieved by having a powder test done on you in a make up studio or store.
- Shade your eyebrows filling the less hairy parts using a brown pencil ( preferably dark brown not black or wine) and brush out to give it a more natural look. Highlight your brows with a lighter shade of eyeshadow.
- Apply a base for your eyeshadow.Go for Matty eye shadows or eye shadows with less shimmery effects using a dark shade as the main colour and the darkest colour as your contour e.g black, burnt purple e.t.c.
-Use a black pencil to rim the inner lining of the eyes and line the eyelid close to your eyelashes with either a black liquid eyeliner or pencil(always go for soft pencils to avoid dragging of skin).
-Line your lips to prevent running of your lip colour and to give your lips a more definite shape.Keep your lips soft and light.
- Using a brush, apply your blush sparingly on your cheeks and blend in.(In case of excess tone down with your powder).
-Apply a good mascara on your eyelashes, brushing inside out.
Avoid going out without using a mascara. You will love the effect of you lashes well brushed out and defined.
